GEORGETOWN RCD
(Resource Conservation District)
There are five members on the Georgetown Resource Conservation District: Bill Bennett from Pilot Hill, Dan Daniels and Roy Rutz from Garden Valley and  Sid Davis and Ray Griffiths from Georgetown. This district is connected with preserving natural resources. They also furnish expertise on erosion problems and similar concerns.

The RCD, Resource Conservation District, the parent organization's main office is in Auburn. It's board has representatives from county governments, resource conservation districts, and regional planning organizations. They serve five counties: El Dorado County, Placer, Yuba County, Nevada and Sierra Counties. State Site:
