Property has Direct Access to Unlimited Trail riding, including 2+
miles of a beautiful sandy
wash near base of Rincon Peak (State Land) & unlimited miles of desert land,
leading to
Old Tucson Studios and miles of dirt road roads (barely traveled by car).
Property goes directly from State land to the Coronado National Wilderness
to the National Forest. The Benson (AERC sanctioned) endurance rides can usually
be seen
in the distance hills from our front porch in the Spring.
Also there is 4.5 acres, fenced land, for
regular turnout. The land is hilly and rocky,
but with some grasses sprouting everywhere during the Monsoons. Beneath the
rocks
is good dirt for grass. Our horse does fine barefoot in the rocky soil. We
trim every 4-6 weeks.
We usually use easy boots for trails (mainly on front). Although if you use the
sand washes, no need.
Also, a studio apt with very large master bath
and tub, at $275/month with
free horse paddock and turnout space.

In part of the 4.5 fenced acreage, there is a large
Paddock planted
with grass for enhanced summer grazing. Also, small patches
of Bermuda around the property for grazing.

Green hills, (JULY-AUG 2011)--see zig-zag of trees (mesquite) going up hill.
That
is the location of the sandy
wash you can ride in. Trails over other areas also. They were brown
last winter when we were there.
